Overview

We are looking for a Photovoltaic (PV) Maintenance Technician to join our team in Attica, Greece. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of photovoltaic power plants, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s quality, safety, and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on photovoltaic (PV) power plants.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults in inverters, electrical panels, string boxes, and other electrical equipment.
  • Monitor plant performance and telemetry through SCADA and remote monitoring platforms.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to identify and resolve operational and technical issues efficiently.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and equipment suppliers when required.
  • Travel to project sites throughout Attica and occasionally to nearby regions.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Electromechanics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in photovoltaic (PV) maintenance or electrical installations.
  • Good understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, and inverter operation.
  • Valid Category B driving license.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong teamwork, responsibility, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Electrician certification or equivalent electrical qualification.
  • Technical English proficiency.
  • Experience using SCADA systems and remote monitoring platforms.
