Overview

The Wind Farm Technical Asset Manager is responsible for the technical oversight and performance management of utility-scale wind farms. The role focuses on maximizing asset availability, ensuring contractual compliance, coordinating technical stakeholders, and supporting the long-term value of the company’s renewable energy assets.
This position works closely with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) providers, field technicians, grid operators, contractors, and internal management teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze wind farm technical performance, availability, and energy production
  • Track KPIs and identify performance optimization opportunities
  • Coordinate and supervise external O&M contractors and service providers
  • Review maintenance schedules, inspection reports, and corrective actions
  • Support troubleshooting of turbine faults and recurring technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, grid requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Manage incident reporting and root cause analysis processes
  • Oversee warranty claims and technical documentation
  • Support budgeting, lifecycle planning, and major component replacement strategies
  • Coordinate with grid operators, OEMs, and project stakeholders
  • Prepare technical and operational reports for management and investors
  • Participate in site visits, audits, and technical assessments when required

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in wind energy operations, asset management, or O&M
  • Understanding of wind turbine systems and renewable energy infrastructure
  • Experience with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting tools
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Greece

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with utility-scale wind farms
  • Familiarity with grid compliance and energy market requirements
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance practices
  • Experience working with turbine OEMs (e.g. Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, GE Vernova)
  • Health & Safety certifications are considered a plus
